Abstract: We show that there is a choice of the gauge condition such that the mixed problem for the Hamiltonian form of the evolution equations for Yang-Mills fields in spatially bounded domains (with inhomogeneous boundary conditions) admits the finite time existence and uniqueness of solutions.
