Abstract:	Im Rahmen der Segmentierung sollten Objekte in digitalen Bildern und (medizinischen) Volumendaten vom Hintergrund abgegrenzt werden. Ein Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit liegt darauf, ein Bild geeigneten Transformationen zu unterziehen, um die Segmentierung so zuverlässlich wie möglich zu machen. Insbesondere wird die Eignung unterschiedlicher Transformationen analysiert und zu Erkenntnissen aus der mathematischen Statistik in Bezug gesetzt.
Translation of the title:	Multimedia segmentation using signal analysis approaches (English)
Translation of the abstract:	Segmentation aims at separating objects from the background both in digital images as well as in (medical) volumetric data. An important focus of the work is to perform various transformations on the image in order to find object boundaries in the most reliable way. Therefor the suitability of different transforms is being analyzed especially within the context of modern mathematical statistics. (English)
