Abstract: The five chapters of this dissertation cover various aspects of the evaluation of training programs for the unemployed like effect heterogeneity, comparison of different program types, data quality, dynamic selection into programs and out of programs, occurrence and employment perspectives of dropouts, and the effect of different program lengths.

Effektheterogenität, Vergleich verschiedener Programme, Datenqualität, dynamische Selektion in die Massnahmen und aus den Massnahmen heraus, das Vorkommen von Massnahmenabbrüchen und die Beschäftigungsaussichten von Abbrechen sowie dem Effekt unterschiedlicher Programmlängen.
