Abstract:	This dissertation contains three essays in industrial organisation. Chapter 2 analyses firms' incentives to preannounce innovations when consumers have costs of switching from one product to another. Chapter 3 deals with the emergence and consequences of price leadership in two different industry settings. And chapter 4 investigates the interaction between firms' R&D decisions and locational choices.
Translation of the abstract:	Diese Dissertation umfasst drei Aufsätze in Industrieökonomik. Kapitel 2 untersucht die Anreize von Firmen, Innovationen anzukündigen, wenn Konsumenten Wechselkosten haben. Kapitel 3 behandelt das Entstehen und die Folgen von endogener Preisführerschaft in zwei unterschiedlichen Industrie-Szenarios. Und Kapitel 4 betrachtet die Interaktion zwischen F&E- und Standortentscheidungen von Firmen. (German)
