Abstract:	Learning analytics is emerging but full of potentials. In Instructional Design and Technology field, this approach holds promises in informing design decisions that can help improve learning outcomes. This session discusses the ideas on intersecting learning analytics with instructional design, particularly on the research and practices. Ethics and challenges will be also discussed.
