Yet we must constantly walk the tightrope between making the most of the evidence and making too much of it.

Studie über die Karriere von Sostratos, dem Sohn von Dexiphanen, von Knidos. Die Hauptthemen werden die Rolle von Sostratos beim Aufbau des Pharos, seine diplomatische Tätigkeit und das Datum seiner Karriere sein. Dennoch müssen wir ständig auf den schmalen Grat zwischen der optimalen Nutzung der Beweise und ihrer Überbewertung achten.
