Abstract: This paper presents a comparison of Melanee- and DMLA-based solutions in response to the MULTI 2021 Collaborative Comparison Challenge which was conceived to promote cross-fertilization between multi-level modeling approaches. We first present each approach and solution separately, and then list the similarities and differences between the two solutions, discussing their relative strengths and weaknesses.
