Abstract: In the first chapter, I study pricing and product design choices of multiproduct firms in a duopoly model of directed search. In the second chapter, I study how consumer preferences for one-stop shopping affect the resource allocation of multiproduct firms. In the third chapter, joint with Duk Gyoo Kim, we investigate the influence of gender composition on allocation decisions involving a rank–inequality tradeoff.
