Abstract:
This dissertations highlights the role of beliefs in information economics. It consists of three independent articles.
The first article is normative and discusses the optimal design of alternative dispute resolution in the shadow of a court. The second article generalizes these findings and provides an insight into optimal conflict management for a general class underlying games. The third article is positive and discusses a dynamic model of project choice.
