Abstract: This paper introduces the educational data literacy (EDL) competence framework developed in the joint European research project Learn2Analyze. In a qualitative study, the literature-based framework has been (a) validated by N = 34 international subject experts and (b) supplemented with exemplary learning outcomes. Findings indicate a good fit of the EDL dimensions to the European Qualification Framework and a need for differentiated learning outcomes for different target groups. Based on these findings, an online course for instructional designers, e-Trainers, and teachers has been implemented.
